Bartley CEO elected Vice President of the American Health Care Association

JACKSON – Philip Scalo was elected vice president of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) at their annual national convention located in National Harbor, Maryland, which resides just outside of Washington, DC

Mr. Scalo served a two-year term as Treasurer of the American Healthcare Association and will now be consolidated for another two-year term as Vice President, working diligently alongside President Phillip Fogg and President Mark Parkinson’s.

As Vice President, Mr. Scalo will also serve on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the National Center for Assisted Living. The American Health Care Association nationally advocates for more than 14,000 long-term care facilities and their residents on state and federal matters.

Philip Scalo is President and CEO of Bartley Healthcare and is one of the founders and owners of the company. Serving Monmouth and Ocean Counties for over 35 years, Bartley Healthcare is the leader in providing caring and compassionate care to our senior communities. A graduate of Rutgers College and Rutgers Law School, Scalo has spent 20 years as a lawyer representing many growing companies and entrepreneurs in a variety of fields, including healthcare.

Phil is also a board member of the NJ Health Care Association and the Health Care Association of New Jersey.. Scalo has also served as the Independent Owner’s Representative on the American Health Care Association Board of Governors from 2017 to 2019 and as Treasurer from 2019 to 2021.
